 EAX-500
Battery Powered, Surface/Flush Mount Exit Alarm
The EAX-500 is designed for
applications that require an alarmed exit device on secured doors. The
alarm, with approximately 100dB, will sound when someone attempts an
unauthorized exit. The EAX-500, with it's redesigned shape and smaller
size make it the choice for quick and easy installations on emergency
exit and restricted doors.

Red and white pressure-sensitive sign reading "Emergency
Exit/Alarm Will Sound" supplied with each unit
Operation
- light will illuminate for 15 seconds during
the arming sequence followed by 3 chirps indicating the
alarm is armed.
- TO DISARM: Insert and rotate the key
clockwise until the red LED flashes twice, remove key. The
red LED will flash twice periodically indicating the unit is
disarmed.

Detex Limited
Warranty:
Comes with Detex's standard one year limited
warranty. The EAX-500 Series Exit Alarm is warranted to be free
of defects in material and workmanship when properly installed,
used and maintained according to instructions. We will, for a
period of one year from the date of purchase, repair or replace
any part which, upon our examination, proves to be defective
under normal use. This does not apply to batteries or to damage
from battery leakage. This warranty will be honored upon
presentation of proof that the product covered thereby was
purchased directly from an authorized Detex distributor. We
shall not be liable for any direct, incidental or consequential
loss or damage arising out of the failure of this device.
